Barbara J. Gordon has been a professional interior designer for over 29 years. Barbara is a native of West Palm Beach. She lived most of her life in South Florida, and Abaco, Bahamas. She attended the University of FLorida and is licensed by the Florida State Board of Architecture and Design. Barbara has won numerous national and regional awards and recognition for excellence in interior design and model merchandising. She has completed many residences and models in South Florida in such areas as Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jacksonville, Tampa, and St. Petersburg. She has also designed many private luxury residences for clients in Palm Beach Florida, Ashville, North Carolina and in The Abaco’s, Bahamas.
Residing on the emerald coast since 1995, many of her projects include residences in Kelly Plantation, Regatta Bay, Water Colors, Seaside, Destiny, Sandestin, with Penthouses & Condominiums in One Water Place, Kelly Plantation, Grand Harbor, & Harbor View Destin, Beach Side One, Southwinds, Westwinds, Sandestin, The Condominiums of Long Beach in Panam City Beach.
Barbara J Gordon Designs established in 2003 is a full service design firm specializing in interior detailing and space planning. My attention to details is not only in design, but also customer service, this approach allows me to provide the clients with superior service and style. Each client needs to become the focal point from which Barbara J Gordon Designs conceptualizes its initial concepts. I work closely with the client over the course of the project to achieve a highly desirable end result. Understanding the luxury buyer’s needs and desires is critical to my design discipline.
